Why did you decide to become a coach?

My journey to becoming a coach began over a decade ago in 2015, but it was my own struggles with social anxiety and the triumph of conquering audacious fitness challenges, like completing 50,000 pull-ups in 2022, that deepened my understanding of the transformative power of mindset, resilience, and relentless goal-setting. Experiencing firsthand how these principles could reshape lives, I knew I had to share my strategies and empower others to unlock their own potential, creating a ripple effect of positive change.

While I primarily focus on virtual coaching sessions to offer flexibility and convenience for clients worldwide, I also provide in-person coaching sessions exclusively in Manchester, UK.   • Startups (Entrepreneurs, Freelancers & Solopreneurs): Building a successful business or career from the ground up takes immense dedication and resourcefulness. I want to support ambitious individuals during these crucial stages, offering guidance and strategies to help them achieve their goals.

Important Notes:

  • Eligibility: I broadly define a "startup" as a new business, side hustle, or independent venture within its early stages of development.
  • Honor System: My student and startup discounts are based on an honor system. I trust clients to self-identify if they qualify.

What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel a session?

I understand that life can throw unexpected curveballs! If you need to reschedule, I kindly request at least 24 hours' notice. This allows me to offer your reserved time slot to someone else who may be waiting.

Please note that rescheduling in-person sessions in Manchester can be particularly challenging, as I secure dedicated space and venue arrangements in advance. While I'm always happy to explore options, your understanding and cooperation in providing ample notice are greatly appreciated.

As an endurance athlete, can you share an example of a time when you overcame a challenge, and how can this experience inspire clients?

During my 100,000 pull-up challenge, I faced not only physical hurdles like painful callus tears, but also the mental demons of self-doubt and even a debilitating bout of Covid during my previous 50,000 pull-up challenge. There were days when I wanted to quit, when the goal seemed impossible. But I learned to embrace the discomfort, celebrate small victories, and adapt my approach as needed. In the final 42 days, I even pushed myself to conquer 1,000 pull-ups in each session – a testament to the power of unwavering determination.

It was through this relentless pursuit, this refusal to give up, that I discovered the incredible strength of the human spirit. This experience taught me that we are all capable of so much more than we think. It's this belief in human potential, combined with the strategies I developed to stay motivated and overcome obstacles, that I now share with my clients. What are OKRs? Can you explain them in detail?

Objectives: These are the "what" – the qualitative, ambitious goals you want to achieve. They should be clear, inspirational, and challenging.
